[audio]The Law of God Closes the Mouth of a 'No on 8' Protester - Tony Miano
Tony Miano did some open-air preaching from his vehicle to a crowd of angry "No on Proposition 8" protesters. One lady from the crowd approached his car and engaged him in conversation. The result was amazing. Note: you will hear changes in volume when some of the hecklers are speaking. This is not a splicing of the audio, but rather a boosting of the volume so that you can hear what some of the hecklers had to say.

[audio]Proposition 8 Protest: Salt Lake City 2008 - Geoff Sink
A recording I did at the protest (11/7/08) in Salt Lake City over the passage of Proposition 8 in California. The protest was aimed at the Mormon Church, which helped to fund around 30% of the campaign to ban gay marriage by mobilizing its members. They didn't directly donate that much money. I marched around the temple with about 2,000 other people.

[audio]"Not Suffering" -- Opening Sexual Identity - Daughters of Mormonism
In the recent past, there was only one sexual identity: Heterosexual. It was the norm in such a way that there wasn't really any space in the collective understanding for alternate sexual identities. Today, sexual identity has become a place of discovery, controversy, and question, bringing in terms like gay, lesbian, homosexual, bi-sexual, and transsexual. Julia identifies herself as queer, which is not so much a sexual identity as an approach to sexuality that leaves the "box" wide open...

After Prop 8 - How can California discuss controversial issues more civilly? Some issues seem to inspire strong feelings and even antagonism.
